Taylee - Partner Practice 11/06/13

Emily and I got talking and we realized that we'd missed writing about a partner practice. The Wednesday before our recital we did a complete dress rehearsal. We wanted to practice being in the space, with the same atmosphere (lights down, spotlights, really tight dress, etc). I felt really good about the whole thing afterwards. I was able to sing all of my songs in the tight dress (which is a testament that I have more air than what my mind tells me I have when I'm not in a tight dress), and I was feeling really excited about the upcoming event. The one thing that Emily pointed out that I tend to do a lot is I rub my fingers on my right hand together. When I sang my next song after she'd pointed that out, I thought the problem was solved since I knew that my right hand never budged. She just started laughing and told me that it had just transferred to my left hand! Oh well, I guess.
