I found a very interesting body mapping website, and I've noticed that Philip may need some postural reminders. He seems to push his hips forward just as I used to do. So I'm planning on first showing him some 3-D models of the spine and skull, showing him exactly where the AO joint is.
Then I want to just get straight into singing. Here's a list of some exercises I will try:
- "feeee ah" 54321, light on everything but one.
- "shoes" smear down 54321
- [u u u a], downward octave arpeggio
With all these downward stuff, I will jump up, and see if he feels the same sense of release.
I want to trigger release in throat and nasopharynx. So I'll try yawning, smiley panting, and imagining his sound going out of the ears.
