LaeKin Burgess Master Class 11/5

Brad Summers- You have a beautiful, low voice but it sometimes lacks freedom. I noticed a lot of neck and shoulder tension which is causing you to give an unauthentic performance. Cindy worked with the motivation behind each phrase. As soon as you had a motivation for singing your voice was a lot more free and authentic.

Luke Shepherd- Preparation appears to be tight and anticipated. Some breaths seem like they could be suspended more. It's a little soft, it could use some more diction. Cindy worked with you on giving presence and center to your voice. The best way for you to do this is to speak then sing your phrase.

Sam Meredith- You were kind of doing the belly pooch with your breath, watch out for that. There were some really good free moments but in others the air was pushed. There is sometimes a disconnect between your higher and lower registers, try some downward sighs. You reach upward with your jaw on high notes. Cindy worked with you to find release in your jaw.
