Brooke's SOHH Chapter 10 Summary-
The label of "right" can lock us into a corner that we may have a hard time getting out of. But "right" is can be found in other places as well. There are different teacher who may be right for your voice at that time in your life. At some times your voice teachers will tell you to do opposite things in order to get the best result. There is a balance in our voice and almost every aspect of our lives.
Key Concepts- knowing the students condition can help you teach them. To understand something is better than memorizing.
Connections- It is hard sometimes to figure out what to do in the practice room when lessons from all my past teachers and my current one say the same thing. It is nice to know that really these lessons are just trying to keep me in balance.
