Taylee MC - 11/19/13

Kaylee Ann Simmons:
B: a lot of jaw use in breathing
I: very centered on correct pitch
T: some airy static sound (swollen chords or chords aren't close enough)
D: chewy (referring to excessive jaw use.)
E: didn't come off as invested to me as the audience member.
O: There was a lot of mouth movement in non helpful/productive ways. I think there's a lot of focus on how to say the words and not what she's saying and why she's saying it.
H: Cindy focused on intention which really energized the timbre and emotions!
Brooke Myers:
B: making a lot of effort to draw in air.
I: sounds like pitch was reached for instead of easily falling into.
T: sounded thinner than normal (it didn't sound forced though, so the thinness was purely the sickness.)
D: each word was easily discerned until the higher section (lots of jaw movement)
E: didn't seem intentional
O: her timbre wasn't full, ubt I really felt like she didn't force her chords to do anything.
H: worked on jaw movement. It helped release her breath!! the tension from her mouth was spreading all over and wasn't apparent until the work on the jaw released it.
Sarah Boucher:
B: high quick breaths, but they got lower when there was more time to breath.
I:
T: heavy, adding unnecessary weight.
D: could use more vowel purity
E:
O:
H: after working on the speech-like presence she lost a TON of tension in her body. She sounded very authentic!!
