Jackson Simmons: Overall there were a lot of intonation problems.  Probably from lack of energy in the body, and the squeezing of breath. His vowels weren't helping his breath either.  There needed to be a lot more free-flowing air.  However, his expression was great, and I could tell that acting is important to him.

Ben Shaw: Overall he needs more energy, and free-flowing air.  I felt like there was a lot of making sound happen.  I want to hear him let the sound happen.

Emily Cottam: Overall there was a great sense of expression, and release in the singing.  I can hear a lot of improvement in her voice since the beginning of the semester.  It was an enjoyable performance.  The only concern I have is that her hands were sitting weirdly on the front of her hips with her elbows bent.  I want to see her arms relaxed and at your sides, or else they tend to look a bit like dinosaur arms.

Laekin Burgess: Laekin seemed really tense.  She lacked free-flowing air and an overall connection in her body.  There was jaw/neck/tongue tension.  I want to see her release that and let the sound flow out.  She has a beautiful voice, and I can tell that it just wants to be freed.
