Sarah Boucher OB Chapter 13 Summary

Sarah Boucher OB Chapter 13 Summary
Chapter Summary: Singers are learning how to become better throughout their whole lives. Just because you finish schooling doesn't mean you have finished learning. Professional careers take a lot of dedication and skill. It is important that we love what we do, we can't be in it just for the fame we have to have a deep love for it!
Key Points:
-It is how hard you are willing to work, not what gifts you have been given that will help you find success.
-Professional careers are not for everyone, we should only do it if that is what makes us happy.
Key Terms:
Making Connections: I have never had the desire to pursue a professional career in performing. I know myself well enough to know that that is not for me. I liked that this chapter pointed out that we need to do what makes us happy. I love music and I chose to study it not so I could become a star but so I could study something that I loved and become better at it. I can not wait to see what I will do with my music and find the path that will make me most happy with it!
