Sarah Boucher Lesson Summary 4/14

Today's lesson was a bit out of the ordinary because D-DAY (My senior recital) is very quickly approaching. We warmed up and then went to the performance hall to rehearse. I didn't really think about it but it was my last singing lesson of my college experience...it is probably good I didn't realize it at the time or I would have cried. It is crazy to be at this point and be days away from my recital. Where did the time go? I don't feel ready, good enough or old enough to be performing a senior recital and yet here I am! The dress rehearsal made me excited to perform it. I mean yeah, I messed up and made lots of mistakes but looking around that empty hall made me excited to see friends and family sitting in those seats. Whatever will be will be, at this point I just have to sing from the heart and express my thanks to all those who have supported me over the years! It may not be perfect but it will be a fun experience! In the meantime, I spend the next few days fixing minor things and studying the poetry more! Thursday...please come faster...or not...I am not sure how I feel at this point!
