Chapter Summary: Words can many times be more confusing then helpful. There are many experiences in life that we have a difficult time putting to words, but can more easily express it through our body. As we learn from our bodies, the words eventually come. The more simple and direct our words are, the easier they will be for others to understand them. When giving instruction, there is no need to make what you're saying sound intelligent. The simpler, the better.
Key Concept: First trust the body experience, then discern the words
Key terms: Words
Making Connections: In my own individual voice training, words often allude me. I have a much greater chance of understanding something if I allow myself to become more aware of the target behavior and more aware of my body.
