Sarah Gee SS chapter 13

If you drink water consistently everyday in small amounts through out the day your body can produce its protective layer of mucus over the vocal folds and other places that require a lubricant to prevent unhealthy blister like formations. Caffeine and alcohol makes you need to drink more water. Smoking is the worst thing that a singer could be doing for their voice. Be care what prescriptions you use and how the could affect your voice.  Misuse of your speaking voice can affect your singing voice in a negative way.
