LaeKin Burgess partner practice

For partner practice this week I had my accompanist there. I sang through most of my songs for Bric and then he gave me some feedback. He told me to keep working on building my character for the songs. At this point I feel like I have the technique underway(though far from perfect) and the memorization solid, characterization may be the next step to helping me find release and giving a fulfilling performance. I'm still putting up barriers between me and my audience and this needs to stop. Bric sang for me and it was really quite released until he started hitting some memory blips then his jaw and tongue started to get overly involved in his singing again. Bric is getting better at noticing when his jaw and tongue get too involved in his singing and this is helping him improve.
