She had her say her german text and then english and then german again the way she said her english text. Cindy said she would not actually sing it till she could say her german the way she says her english, with drama :) Articulation helps get across our point it is vital
Bric Slade
I feel as though bric has a very pretty voice but he has a lot of tension in his voice. Cindy had Bric bend over and the result was what she called glottal fry. Once he got out of the glottal fry and sang his sound was beautiful and so much stronger. On his higher note his voice kind of flipped which means, according to cindy, that he didn't actually hold onto the sound. She then had him work on core and rib cage being up.
Sarah-
Cindy said that Sarah colors her voice "you don't have to make your voice good or beautiful" it just comes when you have the right technique. She had her speak the text again and again until she was able to make her singing voice combine with her speaking voice. speak, sing, speak, sing, speak, sing,
