Jackson Simmons:
B:
I: Slid into pitch a lot.
T: Edgy, and forward, but had a lot of depth in the sound
D: Harsh American "r".
E: very expressive! Sometimes it was a little distracting in the movements, but I would rather have too much.
O: I think he did very well knowiing that he was performing for a bunch of voice majors. Initially he was a bit over the top dramatically, but it had calmed down by the end. I don't know if he was being very honest in his emotions. It was very textbook in the way he reacted to the song, but I think he still did a very nice job.
Bric Slade:
B: bucket
I: very easy sounding.
T: Needs more chiaro in his voice. I feel like the sound is resonating in the back of his throat.
D: very clear German! each word is distinguished from the others.
E: On of the best times I have seen him portraying an emotion. (Even if he let the silliness get the best of him at times)
O: I think he had a lot more fun with this song than others I've seen him sing.
