Sarah Brenay - VRH - 11/7/13

Cassie Dibbons
Very cheerful, engaging intro, I really liked it! Breath could be more full, and would add more focus to the tone. Lovely sensitivity to the music. Great feeling, I enjoy it because she enjoys it so much. Jaw is being muscled around, needs to release. This was really wonderful! Next step could be adding more line in the louder sections.
Emily Hess
Such a cute dress! There's a lot of excessive, unintentional body movement that is hindering the voice. Very nice focus in the low range, and pretty consistent tone throughout the voice. I think that she is not prepared for the occasional high notes in this piece. These notes are a breeze for her most the time, so I think it's because she's in a mid range for the majority of the song, and reaching up for the notes is presenting a challenge. The high notes should feel like your falling down into them.
Brad
Good emotion, but could go much further! Very nice timbre, I really like that Brad kept his voice nice and light on the piece and didn't press it.

Lovely facial expression! ou look very poised and lovely when you sing. Really nice line, but I do  think there could be even more continuous air. The consonants interrupt the air more than they need to. I really love the timbre of your voice! It's really pleasant to listen to.
