Bric Slade Partner Practice 11/7/13

Me and Laekin met for practice and we sang some of our songs together. She sang the piper for me. I feel that that is one of her best songs. She sings it with such expression, it is very engaging. I can tell she really likes it. She sang another song for me and I suggested adding more line to it and she got the idea and it sounded really well. I sang frulingsnacht for her and she suggested the same for me, add more line to the song. These songs suggest a lot going on around the singer but the singer needs to stay anchored like a tree in the shifting seasons. Its as if the world around you is spinning but you stay grounded. Its all beginning to make sense!!!
