Taylee - MC 11/12/2013

Meikjn:
B: shallow, bucket breathing.
I: There was a lot of sliding into pitches
T: very forward
D: I think she breathed a lot in the middle of words (my French isn't top notch so I might be off on this)
E: I think she was thinking of something, but I don't know how intentional it was.
O: I would have liked more line. It felt very sectioned.
H: After working on her intent, it helped with the line of her phrases. It sounded more connected. Also she gave some good ideas about how to resolve "turtle necking".
Liz:
B:
I:
T: I wonder if she has swollen folds today, because there is something lacking from her normal timbre.
D: French awesome, natural sounding.
E: the ornamented syllables, why are they sung in that style.
O: I like how she generally allows high pitches to come, instead of forcing them out.
H: When Cindy told her that she didn't have to do anything right, just to not use her shoulders, a lot of things improved!! The timbre even filled out more!
Allen:
B:
I: It sounded very centered in the pitch!
T: Warm!
D: Jaw seemed tense, like it wasn't allowing the words to come out.
E: Every once in a while I would catch some real engagement in his eyes, but generally he was holding back it seemed.
O: He seemed to be singing very carefully. There appears to be a lot more than what he's giving us.
H: I think he needed the confidence that those higher notes are possible. I liked having him sing the song higher, because when he goes back to the actual key he'll be much more comfortable on the (used to be) high spots!
