Emily F. VRH 11/7

Emily F. VRH 11/7
Amber Farrow: Amber has a nice balance in her voice that seems natural. When she forgot the words, her larynx sneaked up and the breath got disconnected. Her jaw got tight, but then she was able to recover pretty well! The diction was pretty good--I could understand most of the words. Performance-wise, Amber could work on having points of focus. Her eyes were moving all over the place.
Kara Wight: The first thing I thought of with Kara was that work on alignment could be helpful. Her shoulders and chest were kind of collapsed, which forced her to stick out her jaw more. All of these posture things added up to a weak stance, difficult for getting and maintaining good airflow. Because of the disconnected airflow, the pitch was flat a lot of the time. Diction was spotty. A lot of the consonants were lost.
