Brooke's DYV Chapter 2 Summary-
Sing with your whole body, having every muscle relaxed around your vocal folds if you want to have good vocal production. If you have tension in your voice you need to go back to your "native voice/self". Tension however can come from any discomfort your body feels. If you hurt your foot, or hand it can actually cause tension in your vocal folds and the surrounding muscles.
He then gave us some exercises for release. a couple examples that I tried was the yawning massaging my jaw, easy breath and release like a sigh, ect. There is also a connection between the body and mind. If there is stress in either it will effect the way the other fuctions.
