Brooke's VRH critiques
Hannah Lavato- Her low range is very well supported and she looked and sounded very professional. Her high notes just need a bit more support but i felt that she really knew what she was singing about. I really do like her voice a lot. I would say she needs more simply speaking simply in her higher range.
Aubrey Robbins-
Her voice has a very lovely tone and tempre quality. She is able to project very well I really want her to connect within her phrases i think that would help her breathing and her bring up her pitch. Maybe if she thinks higher like Cindy told Hannah to do a few weeks ago in class that would also help her pitch to stay up. By the end of the song it was a lot better. I thnk she was very nervous but it was a very professional and unselfish performance.
Minjin Yeom-
may you always have a song- IT is really interesting because she has a accent when she speaks but in her singing it sounds really good. You can tell she is a beginner and needs to try and sound a bit more mature in her sound but her vowel quality was amazing. Because her vowels are placed in the right area she is able to control her breath a lot more, even though she was breathing with her chest and not her core. I was really impressed and I really liked her performance.
Ben Shaw-
I didn't really want to critique Ben because I have a hard time figuring out what to say for him. I really like how forward his voice is and his diction is really good. I think i really want to see more expression from Ben and a connection to the song. I think this would help people enjoy his performance even more.
Kimberly Robbins-
I love the sound and tone of kims voice. She tends to tilt her head when she is getting her high notes but she was very clear professional and she looked absolutely beautiful.
