Brad Summers:
B: silent
I: sounded a little heavy at times.
T: Didn't have a high resonance in the beginning, which made the sound lack a fullness.
D: each word was distinguishable
E: I could tell it was an up-beat song, but I didn't see a change in emotion, even within a single verse.
O: Brad always reminds me that we should enjoy ourselves when we sing. He is so happy all the time! So even though his initial performance wasn't specific enough for the audience to get a meaning, I still felt good after hearing him sing.
H: I really thought the help given before he even sang was very helpful. Singers (including myself) forget that their performance starts a long time before they sing. Perhaps before they even walk on stage.
Luke Shepherd:
B: bucket, and it didn't seem to go any deeper that the middle of his ribs
I:
T: onset of song didn't seem connected to the rest of the phrase. (It is very hard to start high and piano.)
D:
E: It seems like it suppose to be two people singing? Or at least two schools of thought. The first person (?) seemed awkward to him ( the first time through)
O: Neither character seems really authentic. So even though Luke isn't really dead in real life, I didn't feel like he was coming from an honest place. That's not to say that he wasn't very good though. I think we were pretty harsh on him today, and he still did a good job.
H:When he sang the second time, his onset was a lot better!
