Luke Shepherd Masterclass 11/5/2013

Brad Summers: First of all, I loved your shirt. You have a rich, baritone timbre that I'm legitimately jealous of. I noticed that you were still swaying a lot from side to side. Cindy addressed that and it changed a lot about your singing. Your facial expressions are still unfocused and I'm not always sure what you're saying with your eyes. It's something we've already addressed, but it's worth noting that you're getting better at it, you just need to keep going in that direction. The more specific your intent the better your timbre was and the more free your voice became! INTENT!

Sam Meredith: You have a very round sound which is powerful and commanding. I think if you had a more confident posture and didn't sway as much you would emit a whole different aura about you when you sing. Also I wished I could see your eyes. Sometimes you closed your eyes and in turn you closed a connection with me. Cindy's work helping you with the strict rhythms and not 'shorting' the short notes helped out SO much with the flow and connection to the piece! Good job, man.
