Hannah:
B:Her breaths always go deep, but I don't always get the feeling that they were a moment of "rest".
I: I don't always feel like settles in the pitch. It's accurate but it doesn't feel at home... if that makes sense.
T: very resonant! Very present in the mask! Could use more depth though.
D: I think the vowels could use more consistnacy
E: The first part seemed to have a lot more thought behind it than the last half.
O: Hannah cares so much about being here, and that always shows in her performance!
Aubrey Robbins:
B: TENSE!
I: She is mostly flat, and I think that due to not allowing pitch to happen.
T: It gets caught in throat a lot.
D: refined vowels I think would really help a lot of things in the overall quality of the performance.
E: I didn't get the sense that she had explored what the piece is saying or what it means to her personally.
O: I think there needs to be more intention and less force. The purpose behind her actions didn't seem significant, and her energy was being used to make things happen that would happen on their own if she put the energy into the intention. (That was a terrible sentence by the way.... sorry)
Minjin Yeom:
B: bucket
I: inconsistant. It was neither
T: Yesterday in class we discussed how singers try to add more weight to their voice. I heard a lot of this in her song. I felt like she was trying to sing like someone else with a much different voice type
D: I'm assuming that English is her second language, and I think she did quite well.
E: I think she knew what she was singing, but let nerves get in the way.
O: I think this was a terrifying experience for her and she did very well in spite of that!
