Amber Denslow - Nice relaxed pose at the beginning. There were a lot of great things that were happening as you sang. You had accurate intonation, great hitting those high notes. I felt like this performance was much more relaxed in the body then has been in the past. Make sure that you're singing through to the end of each phrase. At times it felt like you were running out of breath, and I sensed that created stress during parts in your song. Make sure that your breathing stays deep. Great expression.
Emily Cottam - Great strong and open posture. It allowed for a nice deep breath for much of the piece! It supported you through most of phrases. The end phrases became a little shallow, but it wasn't awful. You're a little cautious on the high notes. Let them come out more. Overall, you have a beautiful dark timbre. Vibrato sometimes tends to get wobbly, but wasn't overly distracting.
Sarah Gee - You have such a beautiful flute-like timbre in your voice! Your breathing was overall very supported. I noticed tension with holding your jaw in one place. Caused tension in throat. If you get rid of this, I feel like your high notes will become much clearer, as well as it will improve your diction. Ironic, because you're singing about the gift to be simple and to be free! Show what the lyrics mean by allowing freedom in your body. It will make the performance much more meaningful and more fun for you and for us, the listeners.
