Shalayna G. NV 8

Summary: To master the wobble you must have flexibility and vulnerability.  These two concepts can lead to clean articulation, airflow and evenness to the sound.  The vocal folds must be loosened and easily stretched, back and forth, for different pitches.
Key Concept: The wobble helps with giving up control and singing freely.
Key Terms: flexibility

Connection: All throughout high school, as well as in college, I have struggled with having a wobble. I always saw it as a bad thing to have. I have worked really hard to try to control it in order for my voice to be centered. I do agree with the positive aspects of the wobble, but everything must be done in moderation. I think the book should have talked about knowing when too much wobble can be unpleasing.
