Naked Voice Intro
Summary:
The intro to this
book makes me excited to keep reading. Smith, in this chapter, is outlining
what the rest of the book will be about. He talks about his own story, and
starts to reveal the idea of what the "naked" voice really is. A
naked voice is an authentic voice. It is stripped down, pure human soul. There
wasn't very much talked about in regards to how to get there… yet, but I know
that will be coming. I feel that Smith has had an interesting life, one that
has helped him to get where he is today. The book has three parts: an overview
of his philosophies, 6 inventions, and how we can apply those six inventions.
Key Concept: Part
one is an overview, Part two has 6 inventions/exercises that we can use, and
part three deals with how to apply what we learn from the book.

am eager to learn how to make my voice more authentic, this seems like a cool
concept, and I am excited to try it. I like the things he is saying about
displaying my true self through singing.
