Summary-
I was fascinated by the introduction and how the book came to be. I felt a connection to the author right away because we have had similar experiences in discovering our authenticity. Nakedness is the act of stripping away our metaphorical clothes to reveal our essence. So many other things get in the way of allowing ourself the freedom to sing. Fears and insecurities keep us "clothed" and hide our essence. Ownership is the key to releasing our fears and insecurities. We have to discover our own authenticity. Authenticity is a process not a destination. Learning to sing is connected to our personal development. The author's pursuit of authenticity is inspiring.
key Concept- Each person's journey is unique just like their voice. The path to getting to authenticity will be different for everyone.
Connection- i am definitely on the road to authenticity, I have challenged what i grew up believing. I was that "good little boy" and had to figure out who i was. I have noticed a change in the way i've learned to sing since stripping away some of my "clothes"
