Caitlin Craig ER Chapter 10 Summary

Chapter Summary: When giving and receiving information we must keep our minds open to the many views and approaches.  One approach might strike a chord with us at one point in our development, and may not be relevant when one's current ability has changed.  The important thing is to experiment and see what works for us.  That way we have an open mind, and a good environment in which we can succeed, fail, and start over again.
Key Terms:
Key Concepts: There is no right or wrong answer to pedagogic approaches.
Making Connections: I think this might be an important lesson to learn as a teacher, because it keeps us thinking outside the box in order to cater to all the different learning styles.  It can also help us in our own practice by helping us find connections to technique in different ways.  Exploring the vast array of approaches can help spark new ideas in our brains as well.
