Brooke's SOHH Chapter 14 Summary- a bad performance does not mean that you yourself are a bad performer. It just means that one particular performance was a "flop". Once we realize this seemingly little thing we can over ourselves and work on making our next performance even better. We can get to worried and worked up about something that it effects our performance not only in front of an audience but also in the practice room.
Key Concepts- If you flop admit it and move on to getting better
Key Terms- flop
Connection- I feel as though my last performance in recital hall was a flop. I went home that night called my mom, cried, got it out of my system and was ok the next day. That emotion needs to come out and if you keep it bottled up it will fester and make you worse and worse.
