Taylee. Summary: The ultimate goal of artist is to communicate an idea or emotion. In order for this to happen, a connection must be established between the artist and the audience. This connection is only effective if the audience can sense that the emotion/idea being portrayed from the artist is real and truthful. As a singer, one must remove the "cover-ups" that are hiding one's true self. This is a continual process and one that no one will be perfect at. Also, everyone will have their own personal journey.

Making Connections: The more I learn about singing, the more I realize how much I have over-complicated things. The times that I have used the best technique to produce optimal sound, are the times when I feel like I did the least amount of work.
