Chapter Summary: We should try connecting our feelings with
improvised sounds around us. Improvisation can help us tap into and explore
authentic emotions. Improvising takes the impulse to be accurate away. Allow
fun and curiosity to take over. The characters that dwell in us, want to come
out and have expression. Some effects of improvisation include; spontaneity,
connection with our instrument, clear view point, and the release of imaginary
boundaries.
Key Concept: Improvisation can break the walls that we have
created.

Connection: I never used improvisation in such a way. I think we
