Ok so here goes! It took me a couple of times to do this video because I kept noticing things that I could fix. But I finally said well, the world isn't going to end! I noticed I did do some scooping and and my breath was a bit shallow at times. Enjoy the madness :-)
Shalayna, your sound was more relaxed than I've heard it in VRH--nice! I notice a definite "carefulness" in your body when you start singing, like you need to place everything just right. I'd love to see your wonderful personality carry through your introduction into your singing.
ReplyDeleteSha-layne-layne! I love your sound, you have such a powerful voice. I think that maybe you were trying to control your sound too much in this video. I can tell you were thinking hard. It was lovely but maybe if you put more emotion into it, you won't over think it and you will just let your voice do its thing.
ReplyDeleteShalayna, I love your voice. I felt like you had a lot of good things happening here. I would have to agree with Sarah and say that when you add emotion, and expression it will really set your voice free in this song. I did notice your eyebrows were raised throughout the video. I'm sure you were focusing, but I would really love to see the story being told through your eyes.
ReplyDeleteOi! such a perfectionist!
ReplyDeleteI love your timbre and I especially love your jaw position and how your mouth moves as you sing. It's so elegant and adds to your expression.
Stop second guessing yourself and just sing. You are far better than you think you are. :)
