This means stripping away all our insecurities and covers and revealing our true essence and uniqueness. Authenticity is about being honest. When we watch professional performers we connect to them because of their authenticity. Authenticity creates a moving performance.
Key Concept: In order to create a deeply moving performance we must be authentic and honest with our audience. Authenticity requires us to be vulnerable and take off all our coverings.

Connections: This is a really worthwhile goal. I think it is really natural for all of us to put up barriers. We do it to protect ourselves,but part of being a performer is to be honest and show our true selves.
