Emily C.: Joint Practice, 10/15/13
Shalayna went over my memorization once more and my overall understanding of the text before my pass-offs. She reminded me to go over not only the direct translation but to go over the poetic interpretation that I had of the music so it would be more relatable and less confusing when I perform the piece. We ran out of time before we could work on anything for Shalayna, and both of our schedules didn’t allow for both of us to meet again this week, so this is all we managed to do for our joint practice.
