Getting the breath and phonation working together is key. This will move us even closer to our more authentic voice. We need to stop thinking too hard about breathing and just do it. The usual diagrams on what the chest cavity and diaphragm look like and proper posture are all well and good. But, controversy is had with the idea of completely releasing the air for better efficiency. The voice gets better the more your release it.... breathe out?...
Key concepts: Dump it all out to get more, the usual good posture still applies and always will. Let the phrase guide the breath.
