This will be my first lesson with Sam! I'm really excited. A little nervous because I don't know how it will be to teach a male voice... but still! Excited to explore!
-For this lesson I will need to do the background interview with Sam to get an idea of his vocal experience.
-I will have him sing his song. I'm going to accompany him so I will need to have him stand where I can see him.
-I will teach him some warm ups and instruct him to sing them in the mornings so that his voice is warm and ready for the day.
Short term goal: get to know Sam's voice and get some repertoire ideas for him. I will do this by doing the vocal history interview, listening to him sing, and asking him what music he would like to be working on!
Long term goal: hard to know right now. Probably just rid him of bad habits and free up the voice!
