Jake TNV chapter 4

Speaking in our vernacular speech and applying that freeness into our singing will help us find our natural "naked voice" Free singing after time should become easier and less complicated than speech.
1. Vernacular speaking
2. Speaking with projection
3. Speaking with line
4. Speaking with projection and line on pitch
5. Refining the vowel
we have to learn to not let the tongue get in the way of our singing which is hard to do because the tongue is such a a huge body part. It has to be used to modify vowels, but it should be used as least as possible so as to not be a detriment to our free singing.

Key concept: free singing stems from our vernacular way of speaking.
connection: I know I have a lot of problems to work on. I think a lot of them stem from complicating things too much in my throat.
