Brooke SOHH Chapter 15 Summary-
When we pay attention to the sounds around us instead of just ourselves we can perceive music and patterns in almost everything. When doing improvisations with someone else it is the same. If you pay attention to the others persons patterns you can connect and do a pattern that connects to theirs. We tend to live our lives on what others expect us to do never doing anything out of the ordinary. If we were able to drop all pretenses and not care what others think, what amazing things could happen?!

Connections- I get very embarrassed when someone sees me doing something weird or catches me in a childish frolic :) but I wonder if I didn't care if that could give me a sense of freedom that I could incorporate into my music.
