Jake SOHH chapter 7

At times we can become so obsessed with micromanaging in our singing that we lock ourselves from seeing and understanding the beauty of the piece as a whole. Like if we were to go hiking looking down a the ground focusing in each step and not the path as a whole in front of us. This made me think of chunking, breaking down, and looking at the piece as a whole.
Key concept: don't be so focused on an individual step. It the path as a whole

Connection: I need try and not focus so much on technique but on what happens naturally when I'm not worrying about how I sound or feel so much. To a degree...
