I'm not having a good time with Sam here. He has been extremely flaky and we have only done 3 lessons this semester! It's hard for me to put the same amount of energy into his lessons, because I feel like he isn't doing his part. But I believe that it's my responsibility as a teacher to give the best lesson I am capable of giving, with my full attention and effort, regardless of what my student is doing. Maybe I just haven't been using the right approach for Sam. Maybe I'm being too serious and need to lighten up so he has a more enjoyable time in lessons... We'll see!

Assess what Sam remembers about balance and alignment.
Help Sam build up a mental map for breathing. Most especially, I want him to understand that he doesn't need to suck in or blow out air. Air happens when you change the shape of the mechanism.
