Sarah Boucher Dacy Lesson Plan for 1/22
PLAN:
-Stretch
-Warm ups: Sighs, Yawn sighs eventually moving to pitch, Staccato exercises with voice consonants (helpful for hypofunction), No-no-no descending five tone and whatever else she needs
-Begin working a specific piece, stopping her when I hear hypofunction and returning to the vocalizes that helped her most.
GOALS:
Short-
1. Finding a voiced consonant that really helps Dacy. I am going to try staccato exercises on different voiced consonants to see if there is one the helps more then another, so that we can utilize that if she has need of it.
2. Getting her more used to singing around me. She gets SO nervous to sing around me, which is hilarious because we are roommates and sing all the time! I am going to use the Wooden method, demonstrate and then watch so that she gets used to not having me singing with her.
Long-
1. Helping Dacy feel the difference between her "hypofunctional" voice and her more energized voice.
