Today I met with Brianna for a half hour and we passed off the texts for my songs. The reason why I met on a Saturday was because Ali wasn't able to make it on Thursday, and then we had planned to have her come today at 11:00. But then Brianna had something come up so she wanted me to come at 9:00 instead, which Ali wasn't able to do. So that is why only Brianna and I met to pass off texts.
I have been working extremely hard the past few weeks, and putting off most of all my homework to memorize and work on my french diction. Brianna said that she could tell because the nasalized vowels were all correct, and I was remembering the distinction between the closed/open e. She said that she could hear a lot of improvement and that I was sounding more like a french speaker than I had before.
I passed off all my texts and I feel really proud of myself. I am happy and grateful that I was able to see some improvement from all my hard work. Sam has also been quizzing me a lot, so he has been a great help.
My goals before next lesson are to maintain this dedication to succeed, and to review things every day to keep them on my brain. I also want to practice balancing the a-o joint, while keeping my ribcage open and in front of my hips. Also I think the rose smell will help to me release the naso-pharynx.
