Hannah Lavato:
B: Good Balloon
breaths, a little had to tell because of how you move up and down with the
pulse of the music.
I: Good intonation
T: I always love to
hear you sing, you have a very nice light quality to your voice that is very
pleasing to listen to.
D: I thought that it
was pretty good. Ending consonants could be clearer.
E: I didn't quite
connect to the song but I could see some expression. I was good for having
sheet music, you can easily get caught up in intently staring at your music when
you have it and not conveying anything at all.
M: Worked on opening
your jaw more on the lower notes, your lower ranger became a lot richer when
you did that. your words sound funny at first when working on jaw tension but I
think that will come and not to worry about that.
O: Over all great
job.
Taylee Beckstead:
B: I saw a bit of a
rise in your shoulders but I didn't think that your breaths were high.
I: I know that
you aren’t searching for pitch but a few of your consonants are starting lower
than your vowels pitch. A high note was a little sharp, don’t try and muscle it
out. You have a strong sense of pitch so these are but a few things that should
be paid attentions to.
T: You have a very
D:Very good French.
E: I enjoyed watching
your facial expressions. They did a good job telling the mood of the song.
M: Cindy had you
stretch out over the piano, to let you see how your shoulders engage when you
breathe deeply. She had you do gorilla arm swings to help you lessen your use
of your shoulders. I felt like this helped you focus your sound a lot more.
O: Your
interpretation of this song was very good. You sang beautifully and with
Cindy’s guidance you were able to see quickly what she wanted you to. You had a
much more centered sound after you applied the new tools Cindy gave you.
Laekin Burgess:
B: Balloon breaths J but not sustained
through to the very end of some of the phrases.
I: Good.
T: Beautiful, light,
soothing, even your lower notes have a free and light quality. It is a
consistent sound.
D: Very clear, except
the ending consonant at the end of phrases.
E: Good Emotion
M: Cindy pointed out
the posture that you had at the beginning of the song, I hadn’t really noticed
that but I know see what she had been talking about. She helped you to get in
to a better position, which instantly helped your sound to become even bolder
while maintaining the free and light quality of your voice. She also helped you
visualize the way you need to spread out the breath through the phrase
O: Good performance
and great job taking direction. You looked so regal when you sang with better
posture.
