Brooke Myers: She found really great resonance on some of her higher notes "triumph" particularly with the "u" vowel. Very good bright tone and good job working out all those runs. Watch for scoops on some of those phrases where you have 3 "triumphs" in a row, especially in the middle of the 3. You adjusted your weight several times and took some steps with your feet at the beginning probably because you didn't ground yourself beforehand. Posture was probably a little bit of an issue why some of your breaths weren't deep and relaxed-your left arm in particular looked little rigid and the shoulders had vertical movement. The fast pace of the song can also make you panic so watch out for that. Practice in the mirror and watch for those ticks with rigid arms and use your eyes and face to tell the story of this piece. Pieces with the same words over and over again are SO hard to keep engaging but you have to have a specific thought on every line so it doesn't become static.

Kimberly Robbins: You seemed relaxed from the beginning of the piece and took a good, deep breath before the opening phrase. Your tone reflected that open and relaxed sound. You have wonderful resonance on "don't shut the door" but the phrase before on "timid as a bird" you didn't have that same space lower in your register, perhaps you also ran out of breath at the end of that phrase. Feet were a little shifty but you grounded yourself for the most part. I understood the words you were singing (which was a big deal) so brava! I would work on those phrases that take you from high to low in your register and work on keeping good resonant space throughout.

Emily Floyd: Very poised performance which was rather impressive considering you were volunteered on the spot to sing. Breathing was deep in your body most of the time, but there were a couple quick, gaspy breaths that I would watch out for. Your timbre sounded a little swallowed at times, like it was stuck somewhere else and you want to use more of the space you have elsewhere to let it resonate. I could use some of the expression on your face that reflects the beauty and emotion of the song. Let your eyes engage everyone
