You look so lovely and confident! You have such a pretty, natural tone. I can see your jaw holding a lot though, it's clamped down so only a little sound can eek through, and it's moving up and down when you change pitches. Gotta let that thing go and then not do anything with it! The words "do do" are falling back in the throat - sounding swallowed. A lot of those close vowels are sinking back on ya. Make sure they are in the same place as "e" and "i." Thomas's work with you on dynamics helped your tone become much more full and lovely! And insisting on sticking with the same vowel "o" when changing pitches made the sound much more consistent. Good work up there! There were a lot of pitch inaccuracies though, make sure you review the pitches and land directly in the center of each one. You may have to go back to silent singing or listening to recordings for a while if it's a habit.

You look so comfortable and confident up there. You have a very brilliant, flute-like voice, the high notes are especially vibrant. The pitch is very good too, although there are some larger leaps that might need extra attention. The vibrato is also very inconsistent throughout your voice. It's fast on high notes, slow on low notes, and absent on short notes. I feel like that works for modern music, but sounds a little off with classical stuff. I know that you have so much skill when it comes to expression, but your voice and emotion is staying in a little box around you - I can see it there but I want to feel it projecting outwards. You had more energy and personality in the goofy way you shook out after you sang than in your whole piece! Share your personality with the audience. Thomas did some cool stuff with you for breathing, and it looked like you were much more relaxed and strong through those phrases. I think you could buy into what he was doing even more though, try practicing in a mirror - breathing in and exhaling with the arms falling to your sides and feel the warm, comfortable air. Then apply the exact same movement and sensation while singing. Could be so cool! Nice work lady.

Never ask what you should sing. The fast runs in this song were an obvious struggle, I can tell she knows the pitches in her head, but not in her voice. Her voice doesn't sound like it knows where it's going. She needs to chunk those sections and slow them down to let her voice get used to the patterns. Her tone was airy, pressed, and fuzzy until Thomas helped her get more focus to the tone. After giving it more energy and excitement, her tone was very clear, ringing, and lovely. Her "e" and "i" vowels were very wide, need some space. She continued to improve while working with Thomas. But. I couldn't get over how she looked. So much movement with the eyes, head, and just the whole body, I felt sea sick. As I learned in my lesson with Thomas, that sort of affected singing carries no meaning, she needs to approach the song like a conversation. (Oi I sound so harsh, but she's not going to read this anyway.)
