Chapter Summary: The knowledge of myelin's amazing powers can be applied in almost all situations. Whether that be education, business, parenting, etc. the principle remains the same: ignite the passion, deep practice, and repeat. It's important to both ignite and deep practice, because one without the other will lead to one of two things: a student that feels good but can accomplish nothing, or a student who is so discouraged or uninterested, no talent is developed. It is also important to "overcome the natural tendency to smooth over problems." Struggle is the tool by which confidence and success come.
