Hannah Lavato:
B:
I:
T: Ringing!! Lovely
D: Did well for it being a new song. I think that one will improve with more familiarity
E: had great facial expression during the intro, but it didn't match the thought during the song. The first thought implied she was angry or upset, but she smiled during the song.
O: When she was confident in herself, the piano had a much easier time following. Hannah has a great resonance and a wonderful work ethic. She tries very hard, and should be more confident in her efforts!
H: Once she was able to do the separated teeth thing, it really helped equal the timbre between the ranges. Even though everyone got very involved during her lesson, she stayed focused and tried to soak in everything she could.
Laekin Burgess:
B: seemed constricted
I:
T: lower register sounds fuller.
D: very good at [k] sounds!
E: knew song really well! Emotion seemed to effect timber. Body was feeling the sadness so it tightened up and restricted things. Also she tended to scowl.
O: She seemed very familiar with the piece, which helped her to focus on the emotion.
H: After she started doing the inflating thing, she had a better flow and sense of direction. Breath was much more relaxed as well.
