Ch. 10 TC Summary
Summary: A master coach can meet somebody for the very first time and know how to make a strong connection with them. They give short instructive phrases of correction in a short amount of time. Four distinct examples of instruction are tactile, personification, image, and physical. These four examples were used by Tom Martinez while he was coaching. Every student requires different kinds of instruction and a good coach finds that. Everyone needs mentoring and that mentor needs to be able to connect to them personally.
Key Concept: Master Coaches see inside the student and make strong connections with them. Everybody needs mentoring, nobody can do it alone.

Making Connections: As a teacher I want to be able to mentor each student individually and understand them on a personal basis. That is they only way I can motivate them to be successful.
