Sam Meredith-
Breathing wasn't noticeable until right before high notes. Otherwise is seemed calm and easy. It was in tune. There seemed to be a disconnect between upper and lower voice. Pleasant sound, pure tone comes in and out. I can't really say anything for diction I have no idea! Calm face, but somewhat expressionless. It was a little stiff feeling. Cindy suggested using your whole body to express the phrasing. It's important to internalize shape. She also had him do the shoulder exercises. I notice quite a bit of a difference when he relaxed and loosened up. Overall I enjoyed this piece. He had a pure pleasant tone it was simple. It was just a little bit stiff
Luke Shepherd -
Balloon breathing for the most part, focused breath. Towards the end it didn't seem as easy. Nice warm sound. definitely in tune. His voice is easy to listen to, very enjoyable. Diction was clear, but needed stronger consonants, especially italian double consonants. Calm posture, expression was good. I want to see it more in his eyes though. Cindy held his arms back to open him up. She also worked on phrasing with energy. There were glorious moments in his voice while working with Cindy. Beautiful song, well expressed. Needs support of whole body.
