Jake recital hour

Luke Shepard:
I like the balloon breathing. You look very composed in that respect. Pretty timbre.
I still feel like the Italian is kind of American.. I need to hear true pure Italian vowels.
I noticed your head tilting up on some of the high notes. Check that in a mirror or something.
"Sing with the same voice you speak in"
" go back to square one"
"You have to sing with your body"
"Classical singing is an athletic event"
"Music should inspire you"
Dude, after he told you to sing it like you were in the shower the diction was much much better!!
"Convince with energy"

Liz Tait
I think you need a more balanced posture.
Good job on portraying a character.
"Commitment"
Commit to the beauty of this piece.
"Merge all your voices into one"
Gospel according to st. Thomas Glenn
1. Breathe must always be generous and consistent. We don't change the breathe to accommodate  the demands of the music. It's always constant.
2. Vowels must always stay the same. They don't change with the music. ( controversial)
