Today we worked a lot on suspension and incremental use of
breath with out forcing it to be that way. We worked on giving the phrase
direction and meaning. We talked about
how as air leaves your lungs through out the phrase you have to replace it with
something else. That something else would be Energy!! Your body has to be engaged in singing but
not what is making it happen. The Phrases came out so easily when I was doing
the incremental rise thing. I want to do that every time that I sing a phrase.
